Colleen Moceri was born May 21, 1962. Spending most of her youth in Clawson, Michigan, Colleen now lives in Sterling Heights with her husband, where she trains at Xtreme Fitness. Colleen is an inspiration because she has been inspired by bodybuilding to exert the timeless effort of humans no matter the obstacle. On July 17, 2004, Colleen entered the Natural Michigan Bodybuilding Championships. Colleen Moceri won the title to Champion in the Light Weight Class, and the Masters Class as well the overall Womens Bodybuilding Finalist. Despite not having competed since her her victory in the Light Weight Class of the 1997 Great Lakes Bodybuilding Championships. Colleen describes the obstacle that she had to surmount to excel at bodybuilding, "I have been through 22 knee and foot surgeries over the last 15 years and thought that returning to competition was out for me. See I've been diagnosed with severe arthritis in the feet and knees and have actually had both of my kneecaps moved, realigned and repositioned with several screws. Had several joints removed and tendons cut in my feet. I've had the ligaments replaced in my knees with cadaver tendons, etc. A lot of stuff. I will soon be having total knee replacement."  The inspiration to be found in Colleen's bodybuilding achievement is in the telling of her story and the reflection upon our own individual effort. Colleen puts it into perspective "I love the competition and though I'm small (weighed in at 106 lbs) I worked the hardest I ever have in my life for this competition.
